  • Renewed our pool contract.

About the Pool Committee

The Pool Committee was formed in 2006 to ensure that our pool's first season would be successful and that the pool would open on time. The first order of business was to purchase pool furniture and pool supplies, write pool rules, and solicit bids from and then select a lifeguard/pool management company.

Each spring, the Pool Committee meets to re-examine the pool rules and make any needed changes, evaluate the performance of the lifeguard/pool management firm during the previous pool season, solicit and evaluate additional bids for pool management services, and purchase additional needed supplies and furniture (e.g., new umbrellas or replacement chairs). During the pool season, the pool committee checks on the pool's operations and addresses any issues. At the end of the pool season, the committee meets with the pool management company to ensure that all the furniture and supplies are stored properly for the winter.

How can you help the Pool Committee?

There are many ways that you can help the Pool Committee make our neighborhood pool a fun and relaxing place to bring your family. First, consider joining the Pool Committee. Volunteers are ALWAYS WELCOME! Second, provide us your input. Because committee members are not at the pool every day, there may be some issues that we don't know about and therefore cannot address. Please communicate any ideas to improve the pool to the committee. We welcome the input!
