Change in Monthly Assessment The calculation of the monthly assessment for the town homes is incorrect. The amount should have been $98 vs. $99 per month. A $12 credit has been issued to each town home owner's account. You can deduct $12 from your first or last payment, but all other payments should be made out for $99. Do not forget to send in your coupon with your payment or sign up for ACH. Gold's Gym Contract The Ashbrook Golds Gym is closing effective December 17th and all memberships will be terminated. Ashbrook homeowners will not be able to transfer their HOA membership to another location; however, you can join another Golds Gym as an individual member and they are offering a discounted membership fee right now. This cancellation was the decision of Golds Gym - it was not initiated by the Ashbrook HOA. At this time, the Board of Directors is not planning to enter into another contract for gym memberships. Tony Shamloo, the Board Secretary is working with several other homeowners to meet with some local gyms to see if they can negotiate a significantly reduced rate for those Ashbrook homeowners who wish to join... but again, the membership fee will be the responsibility of the owner and will not be subsidized by the HOA. The savings from the Golds Gym contract has been addressed in the 2011 budget and is fully explained in the letter sent to all homeowners. Next BOD Meeting The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors is currently planned for TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2011. Lawn Care through Millenium Management
MMI will accept up to 3 payments for the service - 1/3 paid each month (May, June, July)! You can't beat this offer, considering all that is included. Included in the basic price quoted are the following services:
- Mowing (approximately 26 cuts per year - front and back)
- Trimming and edging
- Spring clean up (removing old mulch, retrenching around trees and landscaping beds, applying new mulch)
As soon as you submit your application with a check made out to MMI, service will begin within 2 weeks.
